Religion of the Sulongsons
The Sulongsons have practised their distinguishable faith in secret for decades to avoid discrimination. Although their religion's name is not spelt out, there are a few passages in the story that describe its practises:
- The Sulongsons are monotheists that worship the One God, Who is Unseen and Creator of the Universe.
- They call their God "Tuhan".
- Despite rejecting idol-worshipping, they tolerate people of other faiths.
- They believe that everyone is equal to God, regardless of their race, social class and gender, and that the Almighty will only take into account of one's actions in Judgment Day.
- They believe everyone is born pure (free from sins).
- They don't consume alcohol and pork.
- They don't gamble.
