Silat
A significant part of all three Sulongson books involves the traditional Malay martial arts called "silat", which is equivalent to kung fu for the Chinese. Since that the Malay/Indonesian Archipelago has long been a trading region between China and India (before the arrival of the Middle Eastern and European merchants later), silat has absorbed many Chinese and Indian elements.
